Navy's Envvest Benthic Monitoring in Kitsap, Kitsap County

This benthic sampling in 2000, 02 & 03, was a small part of a larger monitoring project in Kitsap County to address water quality problems in Sinclair and Dyes Inlets.. The Navy lead Envvest (“ENVironmental inVESTtment”) program, a partnership between WA Department of Ecology, the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (as well as other local governments) conducted coordinated sampling around Kitsap County for three years.
