WRIA 08 Wadable Streams Survey Project, King County - DNRP

Annual survey of stream segments selected from a random sample of streams in the Lake Washington/Cedar/Sammamish watershed (WRIA 8). Part of status and trends monitoring for Chinook salmon recovery in the watershed. Other data collected include detailed stream surveys of a 150m reach at each site (e.g., channel cross-sections, thalweg profiles, pool frequency, riparian cover, and fish species composition).

Survey work began in 2009 with 30 sites. Expanded in 2010 to 50 sites.
